Fiberglass molded grating is a strong mesh grating panel used as floor grates that are corrosive and chemical resistant, for many industrial applications.
Molded grating is much cheaper than Pultruded Fiberglass Grating, and also does not have the structural capabilities. It is the simpler, easy to install solution for highly corrosive environments, and it is kept in stock for quick shipping. FRP Grating is cost-effective and allows for easy on-site cutting, to minimize cost and waste. Load-bearing bars are in both directions, which means continuous side support is unnecessary.
FRP Gratings are molded in one piece, rather than assembled, like Pultruded Fiberglass Grating. Molded FRP grating features a concave non-slip walking surface.
Fiberman Fiberglass Molded Grating is significantly lighter in weight than Steel Grating, and the high resin content provides not only excellent corrosion resistance, it requires very little maintenance.
A higher safety factor is achieved by designing in a higher glass content at the bottom of the grating for greater tensile strength. Grit tops are available upon request.
