Fiberglass Building Panels

The fiberglass structure was designed using COMPOSOLITE® FRP panels because they are less expensive than steel or concrete, they are easy to assemble, and they can handle the corrosive salt-water environment well.

Foam Core Fiberglass Building Panels

DURASHIELD® panels are the solution for fiberglass wall panels with a foam core. They were used for the walls in this cheese factory in Wisconsin. The 3” foam-core panels were chosen because they are not only lightweight, they can easily be removed for cleaning and moving equipment within the factory. They were also aesthetically pleasing on the exterior of the building.

Pultruded Fiberglass Grating

DURAGRID® T-1700 pultruded grating was used to replace wood planks on a large walkway at Dinner Key Marina in Miami, Florida. The grating allows for easy accessibility to utilities below the walkway and will not rot like the previous wooden walkway.

The grating also has a gray color that blends perfectly with the surrounding marina, creating a beautiful pier, as well as a functional one.

Molded Fiberglass Grating

Molded FRP grating is primarily used in chemical and industrial facilities for flooring, but it can also be used creatively in other ways. The St. Louis, Missouri metropolitan area used DURAGRATE® molded grating creatively as the main fencing component in two major fencing projects. They needed a fence that was functional, keeping pedestrians out, while at the same time aesthetically pleasing and not detract from the natural landscape.
